Note:
Dear Nature Day Campers,
This time I Included the waiver, sorry!
Also link to Slippery Summit:
https://www.slipperysummit.com/
We will go to Slippery Summit on Tuesday, June 4 after lunch. Campers need to bring a bathing suit (one piece or tankini for girls) and a beach towel in a bag. There are changing rooms for the kids to change into their swimsuits. Every child will be given a life vest that they must wear and there are lifeguards in place as well.
Thank you for registering your child for nature day camp on Tuesday, June 3 and Wednesday, June 4, 2025 with the North Alabama Agriplex. Drop off at the North Alabama Agriplex, 1714 Tally Ho St, Cullman, at 7:45am each day!!
Sign attached waiver and bring with you. Adults will have to walk in with their child each morning, and afternoon to sign in and out their child. Only adults who are listed on registration can pick up their child. Adults need to have their photo i.d. available to pick up their child.
We still have room available if you know any other kids that would like to attend:

ages 10-14
This will be the North Alabama Agriplex's Sixth Nature Day Camp in partnership with the Cullman Parks, Rec, and Sports Tourism Dept, the Cullman County Soil and Water Conservation District, and Sportsman Lake Park.
A special thanks to sponsors:
Big Doc and Judy Williamson
Riverwood Farms
ALFA Farmers
Linda Cicero
Walmart Distribution
Pilot Club of Cullman
We hope that they will wear their Agriplex summer shirt on Wednesday. We will send it home on Tuesday.
If your child attended another Agriplex 2025 Summer program, they will not receive another shirt. Each summer camper receives one t-shirt because the shirts are paid for by sponsorship not camp fees.
These will be long days of tours for your child, so please ensure they have a good night rest and EAT A GOOD BREAKFAST before arriving at the Heritage Center.
A few other rules:
1. Wear close toed shoes and tall socks (not crocs). This is because of fire ants and snakes. It makes sense to bring a second pair of shoes – like waterproof sandals.
2. Apply sunscreen and bug spray before attending-- especially spraying ankles and shoes to deter chiggers and ticks.
3. Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty.
4. No Electronics- this will be a day to unplug in nature!
5. BRING A LABELED WATER BOTTLE (not optional) AND A SMALL BACKPACK.
We will make sure your child gets lots of water and stays hydrated on these hot days!
We will provide lunch, snacks, and water bottle refills.
My cell phone is 256-962-2334 (Markus Doering), if you need to get in touch with me at any time.
Pickup will be at 3:00pm at the Agriplex Heritage Center both days
In case of rain, we will go ahead with our tours, using the bus as a shelter as needed. So please bring rain gear. Please let me know if you have any questions.
